Cheri Grumbine, township manager, reported that the project, first reviewed in March, was moving forward. The potential project is located along Route 72 at Heilmandale Road and is known as the Hershey Bare tract. It includes 109.58 acres, and the developer’s preliminary proposal shows one huge warehouse on the property, which is zoned industrial.

The developer, W.A.M., based in Harrisburg, is preparing to have a traffic-impact study completed to show all required improvements necessary to handle this large-scale warehouse, Grumbine said.

Representatives of the township and the Lebanon County Planning Department attended a meeting with Penn-DOT officials regarding the scope of the traffic study. Grumbine will continue to report information as it becomes available.
